I write further to my letter of 30 October.
In relation to your supplementary question
about restrictions placed on the British
media in relation to the Madeleine McCann
investigation, I can confirm that the Home
Office holds no information to suggest that
any such restrictions have been put in
place. More generally, as a result of
enquiries that I have made outside the Home
Office I believe that no such restrictions
have been put in place.
I hope that you find this answer
satisfactory. However if you are not
satisfied with this response or the contents
of my previous letters, the ICO will, as I
have said before, investigate this matter
further on your behalf.
