Having just read this quote:Mrs McCann, a new ambassador for the charity Missing People, said: “When your child goes missing you want the whole world to stop and join the search.
Why on earth is she (Kate)NOT demanding that Murats garden be Dug Up! Surely she would want to know either way? However, I have felt from the start that they had a hand in their daughter's death. Why would an innocent couple NOT want the garden dug up! Any one else think as I do?

 

If the mccann's didn.t leave their children alone in the first place, then poor madeleine would still be here. Through their own selfishness at going out and enjoying themselves with their friends, they didn.t give a damn about the danger them children were in. And why haven.t they been prosecuted for neglect. I guarantee if that was some working class family they would have had the other children removed and probably been sat in a jail cell, why are the mccann's not prosecuted. And why are scotland yard helping out their are other english children missing abroad, why not look for them as well. Something not right with this case, don.t know what but something stink's.

 

When i heard about this story, i felt so much for Kate and Gerry and i really hope that their daughter will be found very soon, i hope this year! Alive and well! I dont think that the Mccanns has murdered their own daughter, because they seem to be loving parents and missing Madeleine so much. I really really hope that Madelaine Would be found this year! I am pleased to know that the Scotland Yard will now look into the case of her disaperance. They did offer their help the frist day but the parents declined.

are the idiot mccanns short of money, their bandwagen is about to rerun. they are guilyt of neglect, i say this as a kid who was taken into care at 3 y/o. my mother was jailed for 1 month, she should have been given 5 years. i am from the gorbals in glasgow in care aged 3, 1953. i have never let my kids down. the mccanns are a disgrace, they should have been jailed. i feel sorry for the girl, if she was abducted? the maccann are a shifty pair, i don't believe a word they have said. they have tried to pin this on portugal, ruining their good name. the maccanns should shut the fxxx up and move on, only they know what happened.

To poster 171 - If Kate and Gerry had shown Madeleine the love, compassion and understanding that a 3 year old needs and not left her neglected and alone in an apartment every night whilst they went out drinking, and then refused to co-operate with the police and answer any of their questions perhaps Maddy would still be here now, and why was there ever any need of a financial fund, that is not what normal parents in that situation do, by the way the fund is a Limited Company which means it is NOT a charity. Why do they not ask for the case to be re-opened. Why sue Sr.Amaral his book is based on actual files and what about the sniffer dogs scenting death in the apartment and on Kates clothes. The Mccanns have lied from day 1.

Was Madeleine Mccann ever in Praia da Luz I say this because there are no photographs of her on this holiday the only one is with Gerry and twins by pool and previous posters mentioned the way Madeleine was looking it could have been photoshopped. The photo of Maddie collecting tennis balls could have been taken anywhere. All other photos are of very young Maddie. Mccanns asked holiday makers for their snaps perhaps they wanted to see if mccanns had been inadvertently snapped. They flew out in such a large group one of the other kiddies could have been passed off as Maddie, Jane tanners daughter for example no one would be any the wiser, same with the crèche nobody working there knew maddie. The Tapas group have remained silent.
All information about the booking of flights and who paid for what has never been disclosed, someone mentioned that at the time there were so many similar little girls running about at least 10 of them. Something could have happened to Madeleine before the holiday, there is the Gaspars statements of the paedophilia link to consider she could have been abused and died as a consequence in England, and they used the holiday with the abduction theory. Gerry took identical photographs of Madeleine on holiday with him for ready distribution, he also had to fly back to the UK to collect Madeleines DNA from his home in Rothley. They would have needed to take some of Maddies clothes and cuddle cat on holiday to cover themselves. There is also the strange sleeping arrangements in the apartment beds not slept in etc.
Madeleine did vanish into thin air also they knew if the search was focused in Portugal there would never be any need to look in the United Kingdom for a body, perhaps that’s why he kept coming back home. He knew he could set up that fund without her being found. The lady in the supermarket that mentioned she saw Kate with Madeleine it could have been Kate with anybodies daughter no-one in Praia da luz knew Madeleine. Perhaps that’s why they released younger photos of her because someone might have recognised that Kate was with another child that didn’t look anything like Madeleine. If this did happen it would be very damaging to UK and Portuguese relations because of the time and money spent also the damage it has done to so many individuals Dr Amaral for example. Maybe the cavader was planted in the apartment for the dogs to find to completely divert from what really happened.

The question I would ask is why are the Mccanns being protected, they are guilty there is no proof of an abduction, but sniffer dogs evidence of a death they refused to co-operate with the police along with their Tapas friends, set up a fraudulent fund why is this case not being RE-OPENED and investigated in the name of justice for Maddie.

I see the McCann's on TV again today blaming everybody else again re Madeline's case.
Whilst I feel desperate for Madeline's plight herself, the McCann patents always forgot the sole reason she went missing......it was because the McCann's were the most irresponsible any parents could ever be, by leaving their young children unnattended while they went out to enjoy themselves!
They caused the tragedy and should be prosecuted for neglect !!

It was a family holiday and they couldn't be bothered to take their kids out with them!

they are a disgrace to parenting!

The fact that the parents both parents said they entered the appartment using the front door and key in their first statments. Then change it to both using the patio doors three days later says it all. Also if J. Wilkins states clearly he was outside the apartment talking to G Mc ann it is impossible that Tanner could have walked passed them unseen. All the questions that the Mc Canns have not answered would have had to been in a court of law and there is not a jury or court in any country would find them innocent.watching the programs which are made by the Mc Canns is very interesting but you have to really watch to see their lies. Thankyou so very much for all the work you do Madeleine deserves all the help she can get justice.

Sometime we have to go with the evidience, and not with our feelings, or let our theroies take over.
I have mastered the search fields on your website and Have read all the statements...re Luis Antonio.

The window and shutter is bugging me, I am sure the abduction happened after 9:30pm, which weakens the statement of Jane Tanner. 6 times that window was passed and yet no said it was open. In fact Matthew Oldfield claims it was shut. This would support the reason why no one saw the windwo open, because the abduction had not happened.

We have two witnesses claiming to have seen a man carrying a child, but descriptions of the man is different, but the description of the child is the same, although the Smith family are not 100% sure the child they saw had no shoes on. This worries me. The other worry, is that if this was a planned abduction, surely the abductor would have planned a getaway, unless it was a robbery that went wrong and Madeleine woke up; but this is an assumption and not a fact. I will keep searching, the evidence is there, and we don't have to look too deep, to find it.

I congratulate you for a fantastic website, and one I use regular, in fact almost every day. Madeleine's disappearance is a mystery, with no end to it in site.

My heart goes out to Kate and Gerry, because there seem to be no closure for them, but they live in hope that their lovely daughter is still alive and they are the only ones who are looking for her, and I hope they never give up.

My interest in this case is the window and shutter. It appears to me that this was opened as a means for an abductor to escape, if someone entered the apartment while he was in it that bedroom.

What, interests me is the fact that Jane Tanner witnessed a man crossing the street about 21:10. She continues to walk towards her own apartment to check her children. She then walks back the same way.

At 21:30 Matthew Oldfield and O'Brien checks on their children his apartment is next to Madeleine's. He enters and does not go into the bedroom, he noticed the twins asleep, but did not check on Madeleine. He then goes to the Tanners apartment and one of their children is awake. so Oldfield goes back to the Tapas bar. Jane Tanner then returns to her apartment, before Kate does her final check. So the window and shutter was walked passed 6 times and not one person noticed the window open, yet they were only feet away. In fact Oldfield says in his statement, that if the window was open he is sure he would have noticed it.

If the window was closed at 21:30 and it is widely suspected, that the abductor opened it, then Jane Tanner did not witness the abductor, for the abduction had not taken place till after 21:30.

It is obvious the window and shutter was closed, because Matthew Oldfield said he stood outside that window at 20:30 when he did a previous check.

This may all sound trivial, but It is very important. I do not think for one moment, that an abductor, who had watched and waited to pounce, would carry a child an abducted child through a holiday resort, he/she would have used transport and made the getaway from the car park at the front of the apartment and not risk being seen.

A witness, who worked at the complex, who searched that night, reports a white commercial vehicle, parked up with a man covered in blankets, having a beer and reading a book by torch light, he think she said he was the guitar player from the beech, his vehicle was never checked, and there was no indication as to exactly where this vehicle was parked in her statement.

Goncalo Amaral as an experienced detective collected the evidence that was presented. Why haven't the mccann's taken the sniffer dogs to court, dogs dont lie. And gerrys reply during police interviews, he could not explain it.

Good Morning Pam,

I have just read this terrible account on your blog of the Down's syndrome woman who was abused as a child over a long period of time and how her mother is being treated by the powers-that-be in her attempt to get Justice, and to protect others.

This brings back a memory of a Down's syndrome girl who went missing some years ago from a parade in Cornwall (I think it was Cornwall)

Again from memory. I don't think she was ever found, and was most definitely not given the same priority by the police as any other missing child.

I sit here with a tear in my eye as I write this, because one of my sons has Down's syndrome, and was with me when we went to Lisbon to support Snr Goncalo Amaral.

I know how innocent and vulnerable children are when they are growing up. Especially people with Down's.

On the 8th Feb 2010 my son will be 45.

I was meditating and got a very clear picture in my minds eye.I saw very clearly that madalene was on a boat with her hair blowing in the wind,I seen the colour flag Red,Yellow,Black.I also seen some sort of Antique shop and there was a fancy antique lamp with a teady bear dangling from it. I truely do believe that she was taken away by boat,which was what I visioned.The colour of the flag represents that country.I hope this little bit of information helps as to her whereabouts.I did pass this information on months ago to one of the papers,but did not get a response from it.And hope that the poor little girl is found,ive got 3 children and would be devestated if anything like that would happen to me.my heart goes out to them all.good luck and god bless x

The ceop have just released a picture of maddie that looks like a Michael Jackson in reverse perhaps she has access to a sunbed. Why was clarence mitchell made a spokesperson when he was working for the British Government. Why has the mother kate healy not been re questioned as to why she refused to answer the portugese detectives questions.

As a mum@ granny there is hardly a day passes when I don't think of Madeline and her family. I have a bookmark with her picture on it as a constant reminder and pray that she is alive safe and unhurt in any way. With the grace of God may she be returned to her family very soon.It is unimaginable the heartache Kate @ Gerry are suffering. Not all my family agree with my sentiments as they blame the parents for leaving the children alone, as they remind me, I would never have done that not would they. However,hindsight is a wonderful thing. I think when on holiday we are all in a more relaxed state than normal. I am also in the health profession as a registered nurse. Caring for people constantly can be a strain and sometimes it is nice just to completely relax and not think of the consequences of right or wrong decisions. Who could imagine the horrors of that night.
I will continue to support Kate @ Gerry, to pray for them to have the strength to carry on and ultimately to succeed in having Madeline returned to them. xxxx

All the evidence points towards the parents perhaps not of murder but maybe accidental death and then concealing her body for fear of prosecution. She has been missing for 2 years. Other people have gone missing aswell in that time, but we don't see them making a song and dance of it. The McCann's brought it upon themselves leaving their children in an OPEN hotel room, in a FOREIGN country. That doesn't sound like GOOD parenting
I pray for Maddie, but maybe some research should be into the parenting.

A fairy story.

Once upon a time their were two people from the land of Gordon who went on holiday to the land of Enchantment.

They had always been told that if they ever did anything naughty, that invisible magic fairy dust would stick to them and it would be very difficult to come off.

So they put on their costumes that they had bought and brought specially with them to wear in the land of Enchantment.
These were different to the costumes they wore in the land of Gordon which were dull and boring work ones.

Anyway they were enjoying their holiday but then all of a sudden they did something naughty and invisible magic fairy dust came down and stuck to them. And they washed and washed and washed and still the magic fairy dust wouldn't come off.
So they went into town and bought more costumes and put them on.

Then an elf came along with a dog who had special powers and could see the magic fairy dust.

And the elf said to the lady you have magic fairy dust on you.

And she said that this was magic fairy dust from the fairy dust factory in the land of Gordon.
The elf thought for a while, then said but you have land of enchantment costumes on.
How can the fairy dustt be from land of Gordon.
The lady didn't know what to say.

Anyway the elf and the dog went on their way.

And the couple carried on their travels in their little cart,which they had hired in the land of enchantment but because they had done something naughty, magic fairy dust again had got into their cart,
so they washed and washed and washed their cart, and changed their costumes again.

When the elf and dog returned to the wizard, The wizard sent them out to look again for the magic fairy dust.

They decided to go back again and see the couple. This time the elf said to the man, your cart has magic fairy dust on it.
O no it hasn't said the man
And just as the elf and dog were going away the dog spotted a pendent around the mans neck.
That pendent around your neck has magic fairy dust on it. said the elf.
The lady was just going to say it's from the fairy dust factory in the land of Gordon.

But the man spoke up and said it's nothing to do with us it must have been from whoever last wore the pendent. But the pendent had come with the cart and had to be worn whenever you were in the cart. to make the cart go.

And the elf and the dog looked puzzled as nothing else the couple wore was covered in magic fairy dust..

And the elf and the dog carried on their way.

But the elf and the dog knew one thing and that was this.
If you ever do any thing naughty, you get magic fairy dust on you, and you can wash and wash and wash but it will never come off.

Surely, if the McCanns had harmed her, they would keep as far away from the spotlight as possible. keeping the case in the media spotlight. They are doing the opposite in order to remind the public that their little girl is still missing and to plea for the public’s assitance. I really don't know what to believe and what scares me the most is how powerful the McCanns are. They certainly have lots of money and connections at the highest levels. I don't understand why diplomats, politicians and even secret services were all at some point involved in this case. I don't believe Portugal is a third world country that cannot enforce its own laws, but sadly after seeing all this I don't know anymore. The idea I get is that if you have the right connections nothing can stop you, I just wish everyone had the same means to help their children because sadly this is not the first or last time something like this happens. Anyway, this remains a big mystery and all I can hope is one of two things: Maddy is okay and will soon be back with her family, or if not, people need to move on and I would be very happy seeing Maddy's funds used to help other missing children. There's a part of me that thinks they are somehow involved, and another that thinks not. Hopefully the truth will come to light soon! If one of my kids was abducted the last thing I'll do was call in the press! The fact that everybody will be looking for her will put her life in great dangerous. Also the only finger prints found in the window was from Dra.Kate from the inside and matching a open of the window to the left.
This case its only politic and didn't fall the investigation and has you can see from Gonçalo Amaral book the British police was very cooperative until they found out with the help of the 2 dogs that was not a abducted case. From that moment the investigation was shout down from British Police and turn to other directions! Why?

I think that a few people in high places must be dreading the day this case finally gets reopened. This couple have had a lot of people covering them. I think the various web sites, like yours, are causing people to squirm in their seats. It needs to be kept out there. Someone will crack or evidence will be found, I'm sure.
It will be interesting to see what is so important that it causes these people to knowingly cover up the circumstances of a death.

Hi Pamalam, I would like to say to all these thousands of loving parents who leave toddlers and babies home alone seek some parenting classes, many years ago there was an add on TV that showed what can happen to an unsupervised child within 1 minute, if you want me time dont have children. Another thing that bugs me is when people say they only made one little mistake.

But they forget to add that every criminal in the land only made one little mistake. But unlike the McCann’s they were answerable for it.

Terrible to read some awful peoples' remarks. Most people are relaxed on holidays and consider their children safe when going to bed at night, with regular checks made on them. The McCanns have only done what countless thousands of parents have done before them. How many of us have used the services of "chalet patrols" while at holiday camps? Well, its the same thing. If people can't say anything nice or positive, then they should keep their nasty opinions to themselves. The McCanns are hurting more than enough. They and Maddie continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
