to support snatched Madeleine.
West Ham’s Argentine striker, who has a two-year-old daughter of
his own, got behind The Sun’s “Wear Yellow for Maddie” campaign.
Pop star Gareth Gates and Corrie actresses Kim Ryder and Sue
Cleaver also pinned on a yellow ribbon to show their concern.
Our call will be backed in the Commons today when EVERY MP will wear
a yellow ribbon during PM’s Questions.
Glasgow Labour MP Mohammad Sarwar dreamed up the idea after meeting
John McCann, brother of Maddie’s dad Gerry, and his wife Philomena.

Mr Sarwar said
last night: “It is the least we can do to wear a yellow ribbon on
Wednesday.”
Thousands of pictures of Maddie will be distributed in holiday
ticket wallets by travel agent Travelcare.
The company
distributes 10,000 a week.
