DETECTIVES in Malta
said yesterday they were investigating two fresh claimed sightings on the
island of missing Madeleine McCann.
A local woman and a British man had come forward separately on Friday night
reporting that they may have seen the four-year-old.
The new claims came on top of at least 12 other possible sightings reported to
police. But so far none of the sightings has proved to be Madeleine, who was
snatched from her parents Gerry and Kate's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal,
