THE parents of missing Madeleine McCann put their best feet forward
yesterday - in a 10-kilometre run to raise funds for the Missing People
charity. |
Kate and Gerry McCann, whose three-year-old daughter vanished in
Portugal nearly four years ago, were among hundreds running in
London's
Regent's Park in aid of the support group.
The two GPs, from Rothley, Leics, were accompanied by Peter Lawrence,
father of missing York chef Claudia Lawrence and Rachel Elias, sister of
Manic Street Preachers star Richey Edwards, who disappeared in 1995.
Kate said: "We are glad to help the charity continue to be a lifeline
when someone disappears." |
