I would like to formally apologise for any comments left on this page from my profile. I had left my laptop unattended with my account still signed in, and a so-called ‘friend’ started posting disgusting and tasteless comments on this page, and on my own page. I have taken measures to ensure that this, or anything like this, never happens again. I offer my deepest sympathies to the McCann family, and hope that they succeed in the search for their daughter, Madeleine. I also offer my apologies to anyone who these comments have offended. I think the fact that Ciaran has apologised says a lot about him as a person. I also do not think that there was any reason for anyone to contact his place of work. We all get fed up when reading some of the comments left on here, which really should not be, as this page really is about Madeleine, but if this was a genuine case of someone else using Ciaran's laptop without his permission, then I think that all should be forgiven. Contrary to what some say about the people who write on this page, we do care about other people and I for one think that the situation with Ciaran Boyle should be put to bed and let things lie.

So many people, as I, believe that it was in fact Madeleine in the Marocco-sighting in august 2007 and the Belgium-sighting in august 2008, and I have written to the british police, Interpol and to the investigators of missing Madeleine, but nothing more has come up. The "so called "father" of the Belgium-sighting just called the police and said it was his girl, but unfortunately the little girls had just been there for one day and had left the country! Yeah, right!

 Wondering if, with christmas coming along soon, it's an ideal opportunity to raise Madeleine's profile. Through any means. Fund-raisers, where posters etc are on display, runs, walks, trampoline bounces, coffee-mornings, I'm just throwing ideas out there, maybe book-club evening, reviewing Kate's book!!. Book recommendations also as that highlights the fact that Madeleine is still out there missing to folk who are not aware, or have put the issue at back of mind. I tend to try to introduce Madeleine into conversations i have, and to date , people are sad, but interested. Webmaster, are there any particular fund-raisers going on soon which need more folk?. :-).

hi,the national lottery gives to good causes everyday and i would like to see a lottery draw in aid of maddie that gave the winner a percentage of the winnings and the rest used as a reward to the person who can end the mystery of what has happened to her..it could possibly be the case that certain people who werent involved have infact knowledge of her whereabouts but wont speak out..if a few million pounds of reward were involved then im sure loyalty given to the person who took maddie would be tested to the limit! people might think its wrong to bait criminals with money but if it was your child wouldnt you try absolutely anything?? x

I have been in Cyprus recently. We put the posters of Madeleine up in the resort and shops nearby. It was very depressing how many people gave up on her and told me that my effort were useless. I cry because it breaks my heart that I cant understand why people dont realise if there is a possibility to find her it is believing that she is alive waiting to be found.

I really dislike the progression image of Madeleine. I don't believe she looks like this now, her features are much prettier & more delicate than this-she looks too American. I think a photo of Kate when she was 7/8 would give a more accurate picture of how Madeleine looks today. This little girl is in my thoughts every day-I so hope she is found safe & well xx

 I have posted info on the Maura Murray group for Maddie - and had "likes" from Madeleine McCann.........does this mean the post on the Maura site has to be removed?? I have been a member of Madeleine McCann for a very long time and have photos posted - all of this the Madeleine McCann site knows of?????? Please advise because I have worked in getting her photo's ou there.....and would hate to have to back down to something so close to my heart! If as you say Facebook has combined your groups, why does your group page keep including people like myself who have never officially pressed the like button on your group page? I have pressed the unlike button as your page/members suggested But I still find my status set to 'Liking' your page. Have you got a valid &worthwhile explanation for this 'phenomenon'. I know Facebook has errors occur from time to time but I don't believe that they would have not rectified this error by now as it is affecting so many people who have been merged/amalgamated with your page without their prior knowledge or permission. It is now more than four years since Madeleine was taken from us – more than four years since we saw and held our beautiful daughter, since Sean and Amelie played with their big sister, since we were a happy family of five. Without doubt, four years seems a huge proportion of your life when you’re eight years old, but in reality it is just a tiny fraction of the life which lies ahead of you. It is important for us to keep looking forward. Whilst the fact that Madeleine is still missing remains our greatest anxiety, it is important to remember that the person who took Madeleine remains free. Other children could be at risk from this person too if we do not continue with our investigation, or if the people who know or suspect something remain silent. There is no law enforcement agency actively looking for Madeleine or the person who took her. As such, Madeleine and possibly other children are dependent on good and moral ‘everyday’ people to help them. We kindly ask you to share this responsibility with us. Why do we continue? -There is absolutely nothing to suggest that Madeleine has been harmed. -Madeleine is still missing and someone needs to be looking for her. -She is very young and vulnerable and needs our help. -We love her dearly and miss her beyond words. We must continue and never give up on Madeleine. Thank you so much for your continued help, support and information. You have helped to sustain us as a family and continue to increase our chances of finding Madeleine.

 Hi everyone....I don't know how else to contact Kate and Gerry, so I am posting here in the hope that they, or anyone else with the knowledge might be able to give me some guidance and help in trying to implement the Amber Alert in Australia.

I believe that this is the most effective system for child abduction recovery and I'd really like to make it happen but I need help! I don't know who to contact or where to start and I would love some advice.

 And a heartfelt thanks to Kate McCann for sharing the story of 'Madeleine'...you are my inspiration to make a change and make things happen! ♥ xox

Hi.... Just thinking, Liverpool FC v Everton FC the derby is on this weekend! Is there any chance of getting the BIGGEST flag with Madeleine on it, putting her poster in the football programmes, & her face before & now on the HUGE screens for the whole game???? Millions of people tune in each week to watch the football ... People all over the world!!! Liverpool FC has a MASSIVE fan base around the world so couldn't we use things like this weekend to refresh everyone's minds????? What better way to bring Madeleine back to each & every person than to have her staring back at them ALL during 90 mins of the game they love so much wether their on the football ground or in the comfort of their own homes that big screen is NOT one you can miss! you can see it from nearly every angle of the pitch/tv screen.. As hard as it must have been for Kate to write that book, I am glad she did. There were things in that book, that I never realised. The treatment of one of the Tapas members by the PJ was appalling. And Kate laid bare her soul and I saw through her words the real Kate McCann, not the Kate McCann that some of the media had portrayed her as.

She showed warmth, love and above all, she wrote an excellent book, just tragic circumstances as to why it was written. Hopefully soon Madeleine will be found and this family can rebuild their lives together, once again.

This is posted under the rumours post by webmaster: @Liam & Mirlian, we have not heard of any DNA testing being done. Gerry and Kate looked at a picture of the child and it is not Madeleine. Remember, Madeleine has a mark in her right eye that runs through the iris. It would be very easy to see this in a picture

 Lee-Anne, Clarence Mitchell did say they were liasing with the authorities concerning DNA. He also said that Kate and Gerry were sure it wasn't Madeleine (I agree her eye is very striking). However the police chief said this didn't happen at all. No photo, I just hope that someone was not pretending to be the police or the authorities. This is Madeleine's life they're playing with!!!!!!
